Ms Gae Raby
Ms Gae Raby is an economist with extensive experience in the development and financing of major policy initiatives at the Commonwealth and State government levels.
Ms Raby holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of New England and has held executive positions responsible for the policy development, financing and delivery of major government and inter-government programs.
Her experience covers the health, housing, transport, planning and community services sectors.
Throughout her extensive career Ms Raby has a particular interest in, and advises on, corporate strategy and the machinery of government. She project managed the corporatisation of a state government entity and has presented a number of papers on corporate governance matters.
Career achievements include:
- Director of the Taronga Conservation Society of Australia Board (TCSA);
- Chairman of the TCSA’s Audit and Risk Management Committee;
- Director on the Landcom Board;
- Chairman of Landcom IT committee, Marketing Committee, Audit Committee and Finance Committee;
- Represented the Landcom Board on the Macarthur Garden’s Management Committee oversighting the Landcom/Stocklands development of the Macarthur Gardens housing estate; and,
- Research Economist with the Australia and New Zealand Bank. Melbourne.
