Dr Charles Watson
Dr Charles Watson lectures in Computer Science including units in information technology, networks, security, e-commerce and forensic computing. He was previously a Senior Research Scientist at DSTO and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sydney.
He brings to Council a belief in open governance enabling informed decisions to be made in the best interests of UNE, staff, students and the wider community.
Dr Watson is committed to building trust, cooperation, confidence, job satisfaction and security.
He is passionate about improving UNE’s competitive position and virtual infrastructure for the recruitment and retention of quality staff and students.
