Scholarships

Scholarships are a great way to make the financial side of studying a bit easier. There are a number of scholarships open to students starting their degree, ranging in value from small to large scholarships, or one-off bursaries.

Students transferring to UNE from another university are eligible to apply for all of our continuing student scholarships. This includes Commonwealth Scholarships and a number of UNE-specific scholarships, including scholarships for:

  • students who live in rural areas
  • students doing specific degrees
  • students in disadvantaged groups
  • students who are good at sport
  • students who live in a residential college

Visit the scholarships page on the main website to find out the details of all the available UNE continuing student scholarships you can apply for and how to apply. There is no fee for applying for a UNE scholarship.

There are also a wide variety of scholarships offered in the community that are not administered by UNE.
