On Campus Honours

There are many reasons to change universities for your honours year.

You may be looking ahead to further research with a particular supervisor or expert here at UNE. Your current university may not offer honours or have a supervisor available for your intended area of study. Or you may just want a change of scenery and lower living costs so you can focus on your studies.

Whatever the reason, you will find UNE a great place to study honours. As a small campus, you will find you have plenty of people to help you and you will probably get a lot more one-on-one time with your supervisor than at a bigger university.

UNE can offer on campus students the best of both worlds: small class sizes and great access to lecturers plus a highly respected qualification from one of Australia’s oldest and most respected universities.

Plus Armidale is a great town to live in, much cheaper than living in any of the major cities to study, and UNE has one of the most extensive residential college systems in the country.

The information here is a good start on the path to choosing UNE to do your degree. Remember, if at any point it seems confusing, or if you have questions, there are plenty of people around to help you. Feel free to contact us anytime.
