How to apply

Step 1: Prepare

Firstly decide what you want to research as part of your honours course. You will need to have a rough idea of what you intend to research and have discussed that with a potential supervisor.

Step 2: Lodge an application directly to UNE

When applying for honours you need to apply directly to UNE using the Bachelor with Honours Admission Form. This is an online form which you can access here http://www.une.edu.au/for/current-students/course-information/bach-hons-info.php.

You will need to download and complete the ‘thesis proposal form’ http://www.une.edu.au/for/current-students/course-information/honours-proposal-form.doc with an outline of what you propose to research and upload it as part of your application.

Closing Dates

Check the admissions bulletin for current closing dates. If you have just missed the closing date you may still be able to apply; contact us for more information.

Step 3: Receiving and accepting an offer

If your application is successful, we will send you information before your course commences with full details on how to enrol for your units. This information will come from the Student Centre.
