When you’re really old we want you to be able to look back on your days at UNE as some of the best in your life. So we provide plenty of opportunities to make your life at UNE as rich as possible.
Armidale is a great little town to come and study in. It’s cheaper and doesn’t have the pressures of bigger cities. You can be yourself here and do pretty much anything you like.
Number one recommendation: live in college. Most of the fun and action at UNE is college related. Plus it’s cheaper than town, you have great meals cooked for you and they give you lots of support. They take care of things so you can focus on studying and having a great time - they even change your sheets for you.
There’s lots of different events, drama and musicals, gigs, and whatever you get up to you are nearly always within walking distance from home.
The sporting facilities at Sport UNE are just as good, if not better, than most unis, and there are lots of sporting clubs competing in all kinds of competitions. We usually have a strong team for UniGames too.
Plus UNE has the most flexible studying options you will find: you can study one subject at a time or full time, switching and changing how you study as many times as you like to fit in with your life.
And we have plenty of support for both your study and your life should you need it.
