Bachelor of Business

The UNE Bachelor of Business has been designed to create contemporary professionals with a solid grounding in the core business fields of Accounting, Economics, Finance, Organisational Development, Management and Marketing needed for organisational survival and success. After covering these key areas in the first year, you can then choose from a range of majors to make sure the degree takes you where you want to go: Agribusiness, Applied Finance, Business Economics, Decision Support Tools for Business, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing, Professional Accounting, and Sustainability.

The course will prepare you to take on a role as a future manager with leadership responsibilities for creating a more inclusive and sustainable global economy. These skills will enable you to respond effectively to the challenges of the ever-changing global business environment in a socially responsible way.

Bachelor of Languages and International Business

Study Mode On Campus/Distance
Duration* Full Time: 4 years
Part Time: Up to 10 years

This degree aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to function effectively both in Australia and overseas in an international business/commerce context. Students spend a year in the country of the language major with one semester of academic study at a partner university, followed by either one semester of work placement or an additional semester of academic study.

Bachelor of Chinese Language and Business Studies

Part Time: Up to 10 years

This course has been designed to create contemporary professionals with a solid grounding in the core business fields of Accounting, Economics, Finance, Organisational Development, Management and Marketing needed for organisational survival and success. This business expertise is combined with an equal component of Chinese Language (Mandarin) and Chinese culture units to prepare students for a career conducting business in or with China. This unique combination of business, language and culture will also prepare you to take on a role as a future manager with leadership responsibilities and provide you with a valuable qualification in the Asian business world. Please note that some core units are only offered by distance education.

There is an option, after completing the three year course, for students to enroll in a fourth year, Bachelor of Advanced Chinese Language and Business Studies which involves 12 months at a UNE partner in China allowing students to immerse themselves in Chinese society.
