This degree offers you the opportunity to study a wide range of biological allowing you to complete majors in Animal Science and Veterinary Studies, Biochemistry, Botany, Forensic Science, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology and Zoology. Or you can enrol in a combined major in Applied/Environmental Genetics, Biochemistry/Physiology, Biodiversity/Ecology, Biotechnology/Molecular Genetics, Cognitive/ Biological Physiology, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, Crop/Animal Sciences and Palaeobiology. All the majors available are underpinned by cutting edge research.

The Pharmacy program offers an innovative approach to teaching, with an emphasis on patient care, rural health issues and the pharmacist as a member of the primary health care team. Our focus is the delivery of a high quality course that enables you, as a graduate, to serve the community.
UNE’s Bachelor of Pharmacy is the only course of its kind in Australia offered both on campus and via distance education.

The Bachelor of Biomedical Science is designed for those who want a science-based degree that is focused towards career opportunities in the medical, paramedical and forensic fields.
When you enrol in this degree program, you will complete introductory and advanced units in Anatomy, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Human Nutrition, Human Physiology, Microbiology and Pharmacology.
You may include a variety of other subjects in your program including Bioethics, Biophysics, Medicinal Chemistry, Psychology and the Sociology of Medicine.
