Surviving on campus

Ok, so you are coming to study on campus in Armidale? Great! One of the first things you will discover at UNE is that unlike many Universities, not all our undergraduates are teenagers. There is a strong mature aged cohort and lots of ages in-between.

If you are feeling a bit isolated, there are ways to find people of similar interests or life stages. For example, mums @ UNE is a support group for student parents to connect and support each other while studying. Check with Student Assist and Services UNE to see what they can recommend for you.

There are also plenty of social groups and activities in Armidale that you can get involved in if you are new to town, as well as sporting clubs.

Remember you can also access free counselling and a range of support services through Student Assist.
