The Graduate Certificate in History Curriculum now offered at UNE will assist primary and secondary teachers nationwide prepare for the History component of the new Australian Curriculum. This on-line course will allow history teachers to upgrade their professional qualifications and up-skill for the new curriculum. This certificate is comprised four units that have been specifically devised by UNE’s Schools of Humanities and Education and include both pedagogical and practical components and focuses on curriculum decision-making, resource critique and development, inquiry learning and authentic assessment.

Group Learning Scholarships

The School of Humanities and School of Education at UNE are offering Group Learning Scholarships for individual schools that enrol six or more students in the GCHC.

Schools that enrol 6-10 students for the entire GCHC, and pay their fees up-front, will receive a 10% ‘sponsorship’ towards their fees paid for by the schools.

Schools that enrol 11+ students for the entire GCHC, and pay their fees up-front, will receive a 20% ‘sponsorship’ towards their fees paid for by the schools.
