NERAM is home to more than 5,000 works of art. The Howard Hinton Collection consists of Australian paintings, watercolours, prints and drawings (1800-1948) and includes works by Arthur Streeton, Tom Roberts, Hans Heysen and Margaret Preston. Exhibitions are changed regularly and include curated exhibitions from the collection as well as travelling exhibitions.
Armidale and Region Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place
The Armidale and Region Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place is a community-based centre where you can experience the diversity of Australian Indigenous arts and culture. When you walk into our Centre, you will be greeted by one of our kind and friendly staff members, ready to answer questions and assist you in your quest to learn about Aboriginal culture.

If you have just moved, or you are thinking about moving to lovely Armidale, there are a few things you can do to make it easier to find your way around.
1st - Why not call in to the Armidale Visitor Infomation Centre. We can give you maps, directions, brochures and information which will make it easier for you to settle in.
2nd - Download a copy of our New Residents Guide here. This contains an up-to-date listing of the local businesses in Armidale. This will assist you greatly when trying to find that last minute plumber!
