Careers Advice

Career is a process NOT a destination.

The Career Development Office in Student Assist helps students become ‘Work ready’. You can speak with a careers advisor (in person, by email or over the phone) about:

  • Individual career and life planning
  • Information and advice regarding appropriate courses of study
  • Diagnostic tests – workstyle and occupational preferences, career transition readiness
  • Opportunities for professional work placement, internships and mentoring programs
  • Information and access to graduate employers
  • Skills development – career decision making, career transitioning, job search, resume preparation, training in interview and assessment centre skills
