Financial Support
The cost of starting University for the first time can place a lot of financial pressures on students. Textbooks, rent, bonds, bus fares – they all add up. It is important that you manage your money wisely – even though it may seem unnecessary when you have so little.
If you are having difficulty financially, you may need to talk to someone about the options that may be available to you – student loans, other support agencies such as Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul, Lifeline etc. Don’t be afraid to seek advice on campus from your Head of College, Services UNE, Student Assist or UNE Chaplains.
