Concession Cards
Full-time students are entitled to two travel concession cards.
(1) The State Rail Concession Card entitles full time on-campus students to discount fares on metropolitan services. You can apply for one of these at the Safety and Security Office on presentation of your Student Card.
(2) The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is recognised worldwide and you can present it to get a wide range of discounts. The card costs $18 and is available from Services UNE. Bring photo identification (eg, driver's licence, passport or proof of age card) and a passport photo. This card is of particular importance to International Students who are not entitled to the State Rail Concession. With the ISIC card International students receive a discount on Countrylink travel within country NSW of up to 50%.
