Learning Support

The role of UNE’s Academic Skills Office (ASO) is to assist you to develop the skills that you need to succeed at university, particularly study and academic writing skills. ASO provides you with individual help, study skills courses and workshops and a range of useful resources.

Religious/Spiritual Support Services

The Anglican, Catholic and Uniting Churches and the Muslim community provide support services on campus and a range of other religious groups meet in town.  The chaplaincy website provides contact details.

The A TO Z, an initiative of the UNE Sexual Harassment Working Party, is a guide to promote a safe, secure and respectful environment at UNE.

Service Quality Unit

The Service Quality Unit (email servicequality@une.edu.au) is an independent body which monitors the quality of the service provided by the University's student-related administrative activities. The SQU resolves complaints from students or on behalf of students and receives suggestions about service improvements. The SQU does not investigate complaints relating to academic matters, misconduct or illegal activity.
