The University of New England is committed to sound environmental management in all of its operations, teaching and research programs. The University is also committed to the principles of sustainability and supports the future sustainability of both the University and the rural and regional communities that it is apart of.
The University is also committed to its responsibility, as part of the global community and as an educator of future leaders, to encourage and show leadership in the use of ecologically sustainable practices that will help preserve our environment for current and future generations.

The University recognises and understands its potential impact on the environment and that a systematic approach is necessary to avoid or to limit such impacts. To achieve this, the University is developing an Environmental Management Program. To view this program click on the link in the side menu.
