Intensive School Parking
Normal UNE Parking rules apply during Intensive School periods. Students need to pay to park if they intend bringing a vehicle onto campus between the hours of 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays & weekends). The best option for short term parking is to purchase a coupon on arrival from any of the 7 parking machines located on campus. Each parking machine is programmed to issue three types of coupons. The types and costs are as follows:
- ½ day Coupon (4 hours) $2.50

Full Day Coupon (8 hours) $5.00

7 Day Coupon $12.00
However, effective from the 1st March 2013 the parking machines will issue tickets as follows:
- Daily - Minumum purchase $1.00 (equals 1 hour of parking time) up to $8.00 (8 x hours parking time). Proportional rates appy in between.
- 7 x Days - $15.00
In accordance with the UNE Parking & Traffic Rules the coupon must be clearly displayed on the dash board of the vehicle as proof of purchase. The locations of the Parking Machines are as follows:

Once you have purchased your coupon you are then required to park in any Lime coloured coupon area. (Note - from 1st March 2013 the colour will change to Purple) If no Lime / Purple coupon areas are available coupon holders are permitted to park in Blue permit areas. Note - Lime/Purple & Blue bays make up 75% of the bays on campus.
The Parking Machines at UNE accept payment via coin (apart from 5 cent pieces) & credit cards. Cards accepted are Visa & Mastercard. As there are limited places on campus to obtain change it is advisable to either bring sufficient coin with you to cover the purchase of a coupon or pay using your Visa or Mastercard.
