Chief Warden - White Vest/Cap
- Reports to the “main emergency control point”
- Assumes overall control of the situation (prior to the Fire Brigades’ arrival)
- Liases with:
- Floor / Area Wardens

Deputy Chief Warden - White Vest/Cap
- Assists with the Chief Warden
- Assumes the Chief Wardens role in the absence of the Chief Warden
Floor / Area Wardens (responsible to the Chief Warden) - Yellow Vest/Cap
- Will supervise the evacuation in the area of jurisdiction
- Ensure wardens are:

Evacuating correctly

Closing doors to contain fire

Using correct extinguishing equipment - Only if safe to do so
Wardens (responsible to Floor / Area Warden) - Yellow Vest/Cap
- Evacuate immediate area
- Ensures an orderly evacuation
- Contain fire
- Completely evacuate your area
- Directs evacuees from using lifts / elevators
- Lead evacuees out through fire exits
- Conduct a thorough search for stragglers
- Report to the assembly area
- Conduct a roll call
Roll Call Wardens - Red Vest/Cap
- Reports to the Assembly Area
- Ensure persons do not re-enter the building until advised to do so by the emergency services in charge
- Conducts a roll call (head count)
- Reports any missing persons to the Chief Warden
