we are able to offer 4 scholarships of $300 to student member of
the ASB. Preference will be given to students, who are members of
the ASB when decisions about the scholarships are made.

Thanks to the support of the Australian Society for Biochemistry
and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), we are able to offer 5 scholarships of
$300 to student member of the ASBMB. Preference will be given
to students, who are members of the ASBMB when decisions about the scholarships
are made.

6 scholarships of $500 are available to students who are members of
the ARC/NHMRC Research Network: Fluorescence Applications in Biotechnology
and Life Sciences (FABLS). Click here

If you wish to apply to these scholarships, you will need to send a
half page statement (if sending by email, please have your attachment
in MSword, pdf or rtf format) justifying why you should get support,
with a list of your publications (including conference abstracts). In
addition, you will need to send a supporting letter from student supervisors
outlining other support that the students may be receiving. Application

The committee will rank the applicants on the basis of their merit
and the applicants will be notified on the 19th of March .
The sucessful applicants will also be required to supply a half page
report back to ASB, ASBMB or FABLS for inclusion in their respective
newsletters.
