Research and Research Training Committee
Terms of Reference
- to develop, monitor and review policies, procedures and criteria with respect to all aspects of research and research training and their enhancement, and make recommendations to Faculty.
- to develop and implement policies and procedures for the allocation of Faculty resources as may become available from time to time, including actual distribution of grant monies where applicable and to provide resources to enhance incentives.
- to develop, monitor and review the Faculty’s Research Plan and recommend an updated plan to the Dean.
- to consult as appropriate with relevant stakeholders and interested parties on any matter before the Committee.
- to consider and report on any matter referred to the Committee by other relevant UNE and Faculty committees.
- to ensure that recommendations and/or decisions of the Committee embody appropriate attention to quality assurance and are consistent with the UNE Strategic Plan and other relevant UNE and Faculty Plans.
