Graduation
The university holds two graduation ceremonies a year. In March/April of each year the university holds a faculty based graduation that runs over four days. In October of each year a two day combined faculty graduation is also held. Students who complete the requirements of their award in trimester 1 will be eligible to graduate in October. Students who complete the requirements of their award in trimester 2 or 3 will be eligible to graduate in the March/April ceremony of the following year. It is compulsory to graduate at the next available ceremony.
Indications of intention to complete your award are requested on your Student Registration Form sent with your trimester 1 enrolment forms. This is used as a guide. Staff at the GSB will also check academic records. Forms are sent by the graduation office asking you to confirm your intention to graduate and to make sure that your name and award details are complete. This form is also available online in the few months preceeding a graduation ceremony. The address is www.une.edu.au/grad/graduapp.htm.
