Economics

Economics is one of teaching and research areas within the School of Business, Economics and Public Policy within the new Faculty of The Professions (previously known as the Faculties of Economics, Business and Law, and the Faculty of Education, Health and Professional Studies) at the  University of New England (UNE), Armidale, New South Wales, Australia. The School offers a large range of units and courses for both internal and external students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The School also offers units over the summer vacation.

The School encourages innovative and student-centred learning, aided by enthusiastic and expert academic staff. Students get to know and work closely with academics in ways now rare in other Australian universities. Many courses incorporating units offered through the School include units from the following four specialisations:
Agricultural and Resource Economics,
Econometrics,
Economic History and
Economics.
