The Faculty's Course Advisory Boards

The Faculty acknowledges and values the professional expertise found in the community that we serve. Our Course Advisory Boards (CAB) are often composed of key academics involved in teaching the course, and 'external' members from organizations, government bodies and/or senior academics from other universities who have expertise relevant to the course. The Board members are strategically selected to provide advice to the University on further and on-going curriculum development and trends in workforce requirements.

Each CAB has terms of reference that address strategic needs of the course(s) and the mission of the School. Heads of School formally report to the PVC/Dean on the impact of the work of the CAB on curriculum development and innovation. The Boards meet at least once a year.
