Welcome to the Insect Ecology Lab...

The lab's current research focuses on insect community structure along environmental gradients, insect-plant interactions and the impacts that climate change will have on insect behaviour, ecology and physiology. We are also interested in tri-trophic interactions (plant --> insect herbivores --> predators & parasitoids); insect herbivory; importance of Carbon: Nitrogen: Phosphorous (C:N:P) stoichiometry in shaping insect interactions with their environment; and arthropod/bryophyte communities.
