Accommodation

Accommodation may be arranged through the organisers via the registration process, or independently. Separate arrangements will be made for invited speakers (see below for details).

Bookings through the registration process

Accommodation may be booked at the following recommended hostels via the registration form.

  1. BAIF Research Foundation: MDMTC Hostel. Rs. 150-450 per person depending on arrangements. There is no air conditioning (AC). This is about 10km from the Workshop venue. Organisers will provide a shuttle to and from the workshop.

  2. YASHADA - MDC Hostel (Management Development Centre). Rs. 2000-4000 (all AC). The MDC hostel has 100 tastefully furnished and air-conditioned rooms (available for single or twin-occupancy). Every room is also provided with a computer node with 24/7 broadband connectivity, and cable TV.
The Yashada sites are subject to pressure for availability so early booking is mandatory.
All personal expenses such as phone calls and laundry will have to be borne by participants.

You may wish to make direct arrangements with the Yashada hostels. In this case details are provided below.

If you wish to book at other hotels, you are welcome to, however the organisers will not be responsible for travel arrangements to and from your accommodation and the workshop site.


Invited speakers

Arrangements have been made for all the invited speakers to stay from 9-12 Nov. 2008, free of charge at the NCL guest house on a twin-share basis. All rooms have en suite toilet and shower facilities. The guest house is comfortable, clean and roomy. International visitors often stay there.

However, if you require your own room, or additional facilities, you have the option of staying in the nearby 4-star government hotel/hostel (Yashada) at your own cost.
