Course Co-ordinator Assistance

Our course co-ordinators will advise you on what course would suit you, and once you have been admitted to UNE they will:

  • advise you on a program of study, within your course, with the proviso that students need to first examine the UNE Course and Unit Catalogue which has degree rules, schedules and links to unit information

  • direct you to more expert course and unit advice from academic staff, especially in the case of postgraduate coursework

  • advise you on unit enrolment, specifically elective options, and how to re-structure a degree program if progression has faltered
  • advise you on course and unit selection, when rule changes occur, which are also documented in the UNE Course and Unit Catalogue

  • assess advance standing applications

  • approve examiner’s reports for Masters Course Work Programs

Student Centre Assistance

The Student Centre can assist you with general and administrative enquiries, but your academic life will involve you, largely through MyUNE:

  • selecting the units (i.e. subjects) you want to study
  • accessing your online units
  • enrolling in those units
  • managing your enrolment
  • organising your class timetable
  • obtaining your ID card
  • paying your fees
  • passing your assignments and exams, and meeting your course requirements
  • checking your results online
  • graduating and becoming a member of UNE’s global Alumni
