Pre-Arrival and Arrival Checklist
Before arrival at UNE, students should ensure they have completed these tasks:
- Return the 'Acceptance of Offer Form' to Admissions staff (ioadmit@une.edu.au)
- Book accommodation. Temporary accommodation may be required for a few nights if the student is going into a self-catered site
- Make a list of subjects to study in the first year. Research the units that are required or desired
- Arrange for airport pick-up by sending arrival details to International Services. Make sure that a confirmation email has been received.
On arrival at UNE, students should ensure they have completed these tasks:
- Know where they need to be for Orientation - including times and venues. The International Services staff can help with any queries
- Bring a pen, notebook, passport, student visa and list of subjects for enrolment
- Apply for a UNE email account by visiting https://login.une.edu.au/register and filling out the form.
It is compulsory for students to attend Orientation and take notes - there is a lot of information to absorb. In the case that a student gets lost or is unsure about where they should be, they should go to UNE International.
