Compliance with UNE brand policy
Proposal Phase
Inputs:
Description from the project team on how the UNE name and logo will be applied.
Outputs:
In conjunction with the legal office, incorporation in the contract document of clauses to protect the UNE name consistent with UNE brand policy.
Ongoing:
Inputs:
Project Team to submit prior to production all UNE associate marketing and communications materials containing any UNE logo or UNE content. Including but not limited to advertisements marketing brochures, prospectus’, display materials, signage, advertising and web pages. This process may be conducted electronically.
Outputs:
Review and Sign off (approval or modification) of proposed marketing and communications materials in terms of compliance with UNE brand policy and visual identity guidelines and agreed key messaging.
Annual:
Inputs:
Project team to provide copies of any materials containing UNE logo or UNE content, if not earlier supplied.
Outputs:
An assessment of the project’s compliance with UNE brand policy and visual identity guidelines.
Branding and domestic marketing advice
Provision of high level strategic branding and domestic marketing (recruitment) advice.
Proposal Phase:
Inputs:
- Brief from project team on market environment and proposed project.
- Brief from International Office on international branding issues

Provision of market research data from Planning and Institutional Research.
Outputs:
Identify marketing opportunity and advice on strategy and tactics.
Ongoing:
Inputs:
Brief from project team on marketing requirements as changes in the market warrant and where relevant to branding and domestic (recruitment) marketing.
Outputs:
Provision of tactical marketing advice to support project requirements
Annual:
Inputs:
- Submission of data on marketing activities conducted, where relevant.
- Statement of project plans for the following year, where known.
Outputs:
- Analysis of performance of marketing activities conducted.
- Analysis and recommendation on marketing directions for following year.
Marketing services
Provision of marketing services such as photography and marketing materials development for use by UNE (such as copy write, copy edit and pre-press services) to the project team including but not limited to marketing brochures, display materials, signage, advertising and web pages.
Includes oversight of graphic design work only (as opposed to layout and pre-press) graphic design services externally provided at cost
As required.

Brief from project team on tactical marketing needs, as changes in project or market warrant.

Submission of data on application and performance of UNE marketing materials produced
Statement of project plans for the following year.
Outputs:
- Analysis of marketing performance of UNE marketing materials produced.
- Analysis and recommendation on marketing materials development for following year.
Public Relations
Provision of public relations services to UNE such as media relations (such as new project announcements), issues and crisis management.
As required.

Outputs:
Identify public relations opportunity and advise on strategy and tactics.
Ongoing:
Inputs:
Brief from project team on public relations requirements
Outputs:
Delivery of public relations services including press release development and media relations to promote the project and promote and protect UNE’s brand image in the market.
Annual:
Inputs:
- Submission of data on public relations activities conducted.
