UNE Committee Structure
The UNE committee structure is an integral part of the due diligence process. It enables UNE to undertake a comprehensive assessment of the integrity of the partner, academic synergies, financial viability and risks to brand.
In respect to the development of entrepreneurial projects, the UNE Committee structure follows two distinct yet parallel lines:
Entrepreneurial Committees
UPMP undertakes the preliminary financial assessment of the project. A Scoping Document must be approved by UPMP for the project to proceed to Entrepreneurial Committee. The assessment undertaken at this level includes:
|
|
| The Entrepreneurial Committee undertakes the in-depth financial and risk analysis of the project. The Committee may determine that particular entrepreneurial activities are to comply with the requirements of the Integrated Project Management (IPM) procedures under the oversight of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Educational Innovation and International (PVCEII). |
Academic Committees
| School and Faculty Academic Committees: | The preliminary academic assessment of all international and domestic partnership arrangements is undertaken at the School level. Please contact the relevant Head of School for more information. |
| Academic Program Committee reviews proposals for the University's schedule of courses and units, including proposals for new and amended courses and units, and for withdrawal of courses and units, and for advanced standing. It also advises the Academic Board and, where appropriate, the Vice-Chancellor on trends and developments in advanced standing and when appropriate to make recommendations. | |
| Academic Board ensures that the University's academic programs and outcomes are of the highest quality. |
