CME's IELTS Master has been developed for people who are looking for detailed, comprehensive preparation for the IELTS test.
To benefit fully from the course, we recommend that you have at least an intermediate level of English (approximately IELTS Band 5 or TOEFL PBT 520 or iBT 68).
IELTS Master will benefit people taking both Academic and General Training modules of the IELTS test. While the course is most suited to Academic Test candidates, General Training candidates can also benefit from parts of the course.
General Training Candidates please note:
- General Training candidates can benefit from the Listening and Speaking sections of IELTS Master. In the IELTS Test, these are the same for GT and Academic
- In the Reading section of the IELTS test, very similar question types are used in Academic and GT, but some of the GT reading passages are different in style from Academic. Therefore the Reading section of IELTS Master is only partly suitable for GT candidates
- In the Writing section of the IELTS Test, Task 1 GT is different from Academic. Task 2 in both Tests is similar: it is a 250 word essay. Therefore the Writing section of IELTS Master is partly suitable for GT candidates

Each course module is full of useful IELTS test tips, as well as exercises with detailed feedback and sample answers for IELTS test questions. There are hours of listening and speaking practice tools as well as reading and writing.
