Pathways to Promotion
Pathways to Promotion is a half day workshop designed to assist academic women who intend to apply for academic promotion.
This workshop is aimed to assist women planning to apply for promotion in 2011 or 2012. Senior women who have experience both as those seeking promotions and as members of selection panels will give short presentations on key aspects of preparing a promotion application. The presenters are able to take questions from academic women about the promotions process, particularly how to deal with issues such as career interruptions due to maternity leave and carer's responsibilities.
