Management Structure
Management Committee
The day-to-day activities of the centre are overseen by a management committee comprising the Coordinator, Deputy Coordinator and two other Centre members. The Coordinator’s work is 50% in the Centre and 50% in the School of Education. The Coordinator will be responsible to the Head of School for carrying out the Coordinators’s duties. Members of the Management Committee may be removed from office for mismanagement or incompetence by a two-thirds majority vote by all full members undertaken by secret ballot. The Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre and coordination of the fulfillment of the centre’s operational objectives.
Advisory committee
The Centre has an advisory committee whose role is to provide advice to the Management Committee concerning the running of the Centre. The Advisory Committee meets twice per year and their sole business is to respond to a report of the Centre’s activities provided in writing by the Director 7 days prior to the meeting.
The Advisory Committee comprises:
- The Coordinator of the Centre (ex officio);
- The Deputy Coordinator of the Centre (ex officio);
- The Pro-Vice Chancellor, Research, or nominee;
