Centre for Research on Education in Context (CREC)
Purpose: The Centre’s purpose is to enhance and promote quality education and equitable educational processes and outcomes for diverse student populations by conducting and applying research into key contextual aspects of education, both in Australia and internationally. "Education in Context" refers to the study of the relationships between education and a range of social (e.g. gender, social class, sexualities), cultural, political, economic, global, international, regional and local contexts.
