Econometrics Specialisation

Description

students Econometrics is concerned with the theory and application of statistical methodology in economics. If economics is to give positive advice to politicians and businessmen, it needs to use quantitative work to put its arguments into figures. Units in econometrics and quantitative methods provide the necessary base for such quantitative work. The first year units are business statistics units designed to provide a basic grounding in statistical inference, in the context of economic and business applications. Note: QM (Quantative Methods) units are offered by the Discipline of Econometrics.
