Equity Committee
Terms of Reference
- to develop, monitor and review policies, procedures and guidelines with respect to all aspects of student access and equity, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Affirmative Action.
- to develop, monitor and review the Faculty’s Equity Plan and recommend an updated plan to the Dean.
- to consult as appropriate with relevant stakeholders and interested parties on any matter before the Committee.
- to consider and report on any matter referred to the Committee by the Dean and other relevant UNE and Faculty committees.
- to ensure that recommendations of the Committee embody appropriate attention to quality assurance and are consistent with the UNE Strategic Plan and other relevant UNE and Faculty Plans.
