Policy on Carry Forward of Assessment
This policy will be applied from 1 January 2000 and will be reviewed by 30 June 2003
- Students with a W, WN, N or NI result in a unit may be permitted to carry forward earlier assessment in that unit at the discretion of the current unit coordinator.
- Students must apply to the current unit coordinator for permission to carry forward earlier assessment in that unit by no later than the last day for enrolment in units in the relevant semester as stipulated in the UNE calendar.
- The length of time for the carry forward of assessment will be limited to the next time the unit is offered in a regular semester (excluding Summer School offerings).
- Students permitted to carry forward earlier assessment in a unit must have the original mark carried forward (ie, no remark) when retaking that unit.
- Students permitted to carry forward earlier assessment in a unit must comply with the administrative requirements of the University when retaking that unit.
