SECTION 170LJ - AGREEMENT WITH ORGANISATION OF EMPLOYEES

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AN AGREEMENT - 18 July 2000

 

In accordance with section 170LJ of the Australian Workplace Relations Act 1996, the University of New England hereby gives fourteen (14) days notice to all general staff of the University whom shall be subject to the terms and conditions contained within the proposed University of New England General Staff Enterprise Agreement 2000/2003 of its intention to make an agreement with general staff employees.

The Australian Electoral Commission will conduct a secret ballot on Thursday 3 August 2000 in accordance with Part VIB of the Workplace Relations Act 1996 at the following locations:

- 9:00am 10:30am in the Senior Common Room, Duval College

- 11:30am - 4:00pm, Lazenby Hall Annex.

 

General Staff must produce their Staff Identification Cards to be able to vote.

Documentation regarding the proposed agreement will be forwarded to all general staff over the next two days and is also be available on the UNE web page or from Human Resource Services. Seminars and information sessions about the proposal will be conducted throughout the University during the fourteen (14) day notice period.
