The whole running team of 30 runners went to Sydney to run across the Harbour Bridge, attend a reception with the Governor at Government House (she is also the Patron of the CMRI as well), visit The Hon Dr Richard Torbay (as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and Chancellor of the University of New England) at Parliament house, attend an EPC Alumni Reunion Harbour Cruise Dinner and visit the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) laboratories at Westmead. The CMRI received a cheque for $35,000.00 from the Coast Run Committee this year. The celebration recognized the long-term commitment of EPC students to high-level charity fund-raising over 30 years. Albert Bussell

Albert Bussell

At the beginning of this year, the college community marked the unfortunate passing of Mr. Albert Bussell. Mr. Bussell was the first first Earle Page College Master, presiding from 1963 until 1975. In his time at EPC, he oversaw the construction of the college from houses in town, to the buildings which we know and love today. He will be sorely missed.

Condolences can be sent to the family via the college office at epc@une.edu.au or on (02)6773 5300, with the eulogy able to be found here.
