‘Peter’s Garden’ was created along B-Block in the Main Courtyard in Memory of Dr Peter Hemphill, who suddenly passed away in February, 2006. Donations for Peter’s Memorial Garden were received from current and former Pagites. Former College members and friends of Peter joined the College community on Friday, 20th October 2006 for the dedication of the new garden, which includes irises from his own garden. Peter was a member of the SCR and attached to Top B for 26 years. He was a true friend and staunch supporter of Earle Page College. Peter bequeathed the majority of his estate to the College in order to establish Travelling Scholarships to his favourite countries in Europe. Peter’s presence at Page is greatly missed by students and staff alike.

| On the 11th October 2006, former College Members, along with the family of Jamin ‘Fuzz’ Drummond joined current members of Page at a dedication of courtyard seating donated by his friends. Jamin was killed in a skiing accident in the Australian Alps in 2005. Jamin was a talented sportsman and was EPC Sportsman of the Year in 1991. The ‘Friends of Fuzz’ memorial also includes a new Sportsman of the Year trophy, replacing the former one which had reached its maximum capacity for engraving. Jamin’s family and friends stayed on at Page as special guests at the College’s Annual Sports’ Dinner and were present for the inaugural awarding of the new trophy. Pictured in the photo are family members of Jamin Drummond: Renee King, Marika Crilley, Phil Drummond and children. | |

| The Benjamin O’Connor Memorial Award for Excellence in Nursing is presented annually at Introductory Dinner to the Earle Page College Nursing student with the best results overall in the previous academic year. The recipient should be successful in the nursing practicum and also be involved in College life. This award was initiated and is supported annually by the SCR in memory of Benjamin O’Connor, whose life was tragically cut short in 2003, and in recognition of his contribution to the College and to the broader community which he served so diligently and effectively. The O’Connor Family also donates a stethoscope to the awardee, adding a very personal touch to the presentation. | |

Parents of College members donated $8,000 towards the establishment of a memorial garden in front of D Block. Members of Mod D stayed back at College during their holiday break to dig up the courtyard pavers in preparation of the garden project. A Dedication Ceremony was held by the college with both families present on 14th October 2001.
