The Albert Bussell Alumni Bursaries
Your membership fees and donations help support Page students through the Albert Bussell Alumni Bursaries and Anniversary Fellows Country Scholarship.
These Bursaries are named in honour of Mr Albert Bussell, Foundation Master of Earle Page College, and sponsored jointly by Mr Bussell, the College and the College’s Alumni.
There are three $1,000 Bursaries awarded annually to students returning to Earle Page College:
- Second Year student who has lived in the College the previous year
- Third Year student who has lived in the College the previous two years
- Fourth Year student who has lived in the College the previous three years
The Bursaries are awarded on the basis of academic merit for the current year and contribution to the College in sport, cultural activities and community service during the previous year.
Scholarships
Over $75,000 was raised by alumni from Earle Page College during the 40th Anniversary weekend at the University of New England in September 2003. It is the largest amount of money raised by college alumni from UNE.
The amount raised has now risen to $120,000 and is held in trust for the Earle Page College Anniversary Fellows UNE Country Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to an EPC student for the duration of their degree and is valued at $5,000 per year. One scholarship is offered each 3-4 years.
Alumni who have donated $5,000 or more over a three-year period have been named as Anniversary Fellows and publicly honoured on a board in the College’s dining hall.

Gwendolyn’s mother Virginia Hall (nee Tame) is an old Pagite.
