Jacquie's week at College!
Monday – got up at 8, had shower, went down to breakfast with Todd. Walked up to history lecture, followed by Psych tute. Walked back down to College for lunch. No class that arv, so sat in courtyard with Diana and went over notes for assignment due Fri. Went down to dinner with my floor then back up to floor meeting. Finished off half of assignment and then listened to Steph’s poem that she’s entering in the SFK comp.
Tuesday – got up at 10, made toast in kitchenette and went over socy notes. Went up for soci tute, got lift with Todd coz it was raining. Had lunch at delicafe. Went to history lecture, then socy tute and then walked back to college in the rain coz Todd still had class (wished I’d caught bus!!). Had shower then hot chocolate in Steph’s room and watched some Scrubs episodes. Went down to dinner and then to waterpolo, we won! Went back up to room and finished assignment due Friday – wohoo!
Wednesday – got up early and went to College Gym with JP. Went straight to breakfast then up to have a shower. Got locked out of my room (forgot my keys again!) but Deb the cleaner was there and let me back in! Drove up to class coz now I was running late, but made it in time. We watched a movie about Ancient Egypt, yes! Bludgey! Then straight to Socy lecture. Back down to College and went to Bec’s room. Diana did my hair and I wore Steph’s dress, Bec wore mine! They looked gorgeous! Walked down to pre-dinner drinks in the courtyard, had a few champagnes. Speeches at dinner were good, actually quite interesting. Had a few wines and the meal was great! Had chocolate cheesecake for dessert, my Fave!! Back up to college for a bit of a dance and then went out!
Thursday – bit of a headache, but pretty good! Bacon and hash browns made me feel better. Up to uni for 3 hours of Psych, lunch up top, then a history tute. Back down to SFK Performance practice. Guys were playing cricket in the courtyard, went down and managed to bowl JP out!!! Back up to room to do homework from Psych today. Had an early night.
Friday – Diana’s bday! We had champagne brekky with pancakes at the BBQs. Went up for my only hour of class today, handed in assignment. Came back down to College and read some of my Socy readings. Then got ready to dress up for Diana’s 80’s party. Went to Vinnies to get some seriously bad 80’s outfits and went to Kate’s house to borrow her crimper. Jane bought round some awesome scrunchies to top off the 80’s looks. The party was awesome, we even had pass the parcel!
Saturday – Got up to go and umpire netball, then played. Came back down to college for lunch. Shave for a cure that arv so helped set up and made some signs. We cut off Diana’s (still crimped from last night) hair, she actually looks really good without it! Mick and JP went pink with theirs, so funny! Bec, Steph and I had a pj party, studied for a bit then watched movies.
Sunday – went and watched the boys’ first game of PT cricket then played 3 games of MB cricket. Really funny, had no idea what we were doing. Did heaps better in the soccer last week. Went to Malpas dam for practice paddle for HCC. We're going away to South West Rocks for an overnight paddle next weekend - can't wait!!! Had my study group for History that evening, Hannah bought a slice that she made! Watched So You Think You Can Dance, studied a bit and went to bed. I have an early class in the morning!

Up top = most of the colleges are down the hill and all of the UNE buildings are up the hill. So, if you are going to the library or class or the student centre, you are going ‘up top’.
