Future Students - Arriving at College

Arriving on Campus

If you are driving to Armidale it is really easy to find the university. You will come in off the New England Highway. Directions to UNE are clearly signposted. After you have turned off the highway you will turn left at the large roundabout and travel around 500 meters. You will see the green UNE sign and you can take a right to get to the College Office, or you can continue straight and take the next right into the College carparks. Drummond and Smith College is the first College you will see. It is a big cream square building with long vertical windows situated on the corner.

If you are arriving by train, plane or bus, you can catch a taxi to the college. As Armidale is relatively small, this taxi ride will take around ten minutes and should cost approximately $15.00. Try and get tickets and bookings organised early. Ensure that flights are booked early as they can be expensive and limited. Keep in mind that trains and buses may only run one daily trip to Armidale.
