Dreaming Landscapes 2004 Privacy Policy

The Registration Form, Workshop Proposals and Subsidy Application forms for this conference require you to provide personal information. As required by the National Privacy Principles in Australian law, we state our policy on the handling of your personal information.

By 'personal information' we mean any information about you as an individual such as your contact details, religious affiliation etc. Credit Card and payment details required for registration are handled by Professional Conference Organizers through a secure site. These details will not be made available to the Dreaming Landscapes Planning committee.

All information we collect is for the purpose of organizing the Dreaming Landscapes Conference, Brisbane, 2004. We intend to use the information provided:

  1. to plan and provide conference activities, to allocate individuals to accommodation, reflection groups, conference excursions, etc.
  2. to provide all delegates with a full list of participants and their contact details
  3. subsidy application information will be used to assist with the provision of subsidies. Some external funding bodies may require the release of some personal information in order for funding to be secured. If this is the case, we will endeavour to request applicants' permission before passing on information to funding organisations.

In the event of another international/global conference in 2008, we will hand on a list of the conference delegates and their contact details to a duly constituted organizing group.

Beyond these uses related to conference organization, we will not release personal information of anyone registered for this conference without their express permission.
