Anne Pattel-Gray
Ph.D. (Sydney); D.D. (India); Ph.D. (Candidate Flinders)

Dr. Anne Pattel-Gray has an earned Ph.D. from the University of Sydney awarded in 1995, and a Doctor of Divinity from India awarded in 1997, and she is currently completing a second Ph.D. from Flinders University. She is a prolific writer with several publications - chapters, articles, edited works and single authored books. To mention a few: -

• Through Aboriginal Eyes: The Cry from the Wilderness. Geneva: WCC Publications, 1991.
• Exploring Religions. Sydney: Oxford University Press, 1997 (with Ruth Lewin, et al).
• The Great White Flood: Racism in Australia. American Academy of Religion, Cultural Criticism Series, 2. Atlanta: Scholars Press, 1998.
• (Ed) Tiddas Talking Business. Voices from the Edge Series, No.1, ISPCK, Delhi, India 2000.
• (Ed) Aboriginal Spirituality: Past, Present, Future. Melbourne: HarperCollins Religious, 1996.
• (Ed) Martung Upah: Black and White Australians Seeking Partnership. Melbourne: HarperCollins Religious, 1996.

Also, over the past few years Anne has been employed in the following positions: -

• 1989 to 1997 Executive Secretary, Aboriginal & Islander Commission, National Council of Churches in Australia, Sydney.
• 1997 to 1998 Director, Indigenous Communications, World Association for Christian Communication, London.
• 1998 to 2001 Professor, Chair of Mission & Ecumenics, United theological College, Bangalore, India.
• 2001 to 2002 Director, Centre of Indigenous Vocational Education & Training, Cunnamulla, QLD.
• 2003 to - Executive Director, Tauondi College, Port Adelaide, SA.

Further, Anne has represented Aboriginal Australia on various international bodies and organisations throughout the World.
