Nathan
CampusGriffith University will be the conference venue. The natural bush setting of the Nathan Campus offers a truly Australian environment. Participants will encounter Australian flora and fauna in abundance, with kookaburras, parrots and goannas sharing the campus setting. The Nathan Campus is located close to the centre of Brisbane - a short 15 minute express bus ride.
Internet access will not be available to delegates at the conference venue.
There are a number of coin operated internet machines at Westfield Garden City shopping centre. The centre is located within 5km (3 miles) of Griffith University's Nathan Campus. Alternatively, if you provide your own computer you can access the Internet from your on-campus room.
For this you will need:
All Robertson Gardens motel rooms and villas have modem telphone lines for
internet access. Again, participants will need to provide their own computer
and modem.
AccommodationAccommodation for the conference participants will be provided on campus in single rooms with shared gender-specific bathrooms. Limited on-campus accommodation will be available for up to three nights before the conference and up to two nights after the conference and can be booked directly on the registration form. Family accommodation within walking distance of the campus is limited, so early booking is recommended and must be done directly with the desired motel rather than through the conference registration system. You will need to register at the live out rate.
Robertson Gardens offers motel-style double and twin rooms as well as two and three bedroom villa units with self-catering facilities and is a short walk from the campus. A variety of accommodation has been provisionally reserved at Robertson Gardens and can be accessed by mentioning the Global Multi-Faith Conference at Griffith University.
All costs are in Australian dollars and include GST. A currency converter has been provided below as a guide only. The amount charged to your account will be determined by the conversion rate offered by our financial institution at the time that the payment is processed. If you would like to attend but can't afford to, you may be eligible for a subsidy.
Register on line or by downloading the form in Word (.doc) (65 KB) or Rich Text (.rft) (146 KB) format and returning it by email, fax or post to the Conference Secretariat.
Final registration date is May 31.
Please also sign up for lectures, papers and workshops. Final date for on-line signup is Sunday, 20 June. After this date all signups will be done on registration at the conference.
Registration acknowledgement will be provided. Further information and regular updates will be posted on the website and sent by e-mail. Please check your email regularly.
