Dr. Luther B. Felder, II

Luther Felder attended Wiley College and graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts. He then continued his study in Theology at Colgate Rochester Divinity School in Rochester New York, completing that work with a Master of Divinity degree in 1974. In 1990 he received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Felder is a widely celebrated conference speaker and workshop leader. He has also presented keynote addresses for numerous college and university programs.

For eighteen years Dr. Felder pastored local churches, both in Detroit, Michigan and in Arlington, Texas. In June 1993 he was appointed Pastor/Director position at the Wesley Foundation at the University of Texas in Arlington. In that same year he also became a member of the national training team Disciple Bible Study a program wherein he presented keynote messages in training seminars across the nation. In June, 1996 he was appointed to serve as the Associate University Chaplain at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Today Dr. Felder serves as the Assistant General Secretary for the Campus Ministry Section of the United Methodist General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. In this capacity, he provides supportive services to more than 700 campus ministries and chaplaincies throughout the US, Russia, and Africa.

Dr. Felder currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Gwendolyn Brown-Felder.
