Poor Results

You may be thinking of dropping out because you feel your results aren’t good enough or you may be failing some subjects. Poor results can be caused by a range of factors:

  • inadequate study skills
  • time management issues
  • poor writing skills
  • lack of understanding of what is required of you in assessment tasks
  • lack of exam skills
  • exam anxiety
  • inability to concentrate
  • lack of background knowledge in a subject area
  • lack of confidence
  • other reasons such as relationship issues which impact on your studies.
