Another Reason

Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by a number of different personal, emotional, social, financial and/or study related issues. Examples of these kinds of problems are:

  • performance anxiety, fear of failure or perfectionism
  • procrastination or lack of motivation
  • general feelings of dissatisfaction with your life
  • depression
  • loneliness and alienation.

Counsellors are professionally trained to help you with these types of issues in a confidential setting. They are also able to provide supporting documentation if you need to provide evidence of extenuating circumstances for the purpose of transferring to other institutions, or to withdraw without academic penalty after the due date.

Talk it over first

Just talking it over is often a great help and support staff also may be able to help you work out options and make necessary changes.
