The Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training has developed a list of scholarships available to post-secondary students with a disability.

MyFuture Awards and Scholarships

MyFuture is a career exploration service for young people.  It contains information about career paths, options as well as support services, including scholarships for education.

Northcott Scholarships

To assist students to undertake tertiary level studies, Northcott supports a number of scholarship opportunities.

Willing and Able Mentoring Program

The Willing and Able Mentoring (WAM) Program matches job seekers or tertiary students who have a disability with mentors in leading organisations in the job seekers or students' field of interest for a series of approximately eight one- to two-hour meetings.

CanTeen 

CanTeen is able to offer support for students between the ages of 12-24, they are the best place to help people deal with the challenges cancer brings.  

CATS (Creating Accessible Teaching & Support)

This comprehensive online resource has been developed to assist academic staff and students to access information on a range of disabilities, how disabilities impact on students' learning, the legislative requirements to support students with disabilities and the various reasonable adjustments and support services available.

National Disability Coordination Office

A program funded by the Australian Government Department of Education aimed at building links between education, training and employment sectors to improve assistance for people with disabilities at all levels.

Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training

This resource provides up-to-date and comprehensive information about inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies, as well as adjustments and support services for people with disabilities in post-secondary education and training.

Assistive Technology in the Workplace 

This booklet, developed by the National Disability Coordination Officer at Deakin University, provides information about technology that can be used in the workplace, or when studying, by people with a disability. 

UNE's Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS)

ITAS is funded by the Australian Government and administered by the Oorala Centre. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students, enrolled in UNE, can access Extra Tutorial Assistance

Vision Australia – Print Accessibility Services

Vision Australia's print accessibility service provides information and services to improve access to printed material for people with vision impairment and blindness.

Blind Citizens Australia

Blind Citizens Australia aims to achieve equity and equality for blind and vision-impaired Australians by promoting positive community attitudes and striving for high quality and accessible services.

Australian Learning Disability Association (ALDA)

This site provides information and resources for people with learning disabilities, their families and educator.

Learning Difficulties Australia

LDA is an association of teachers and other professionals dedicated to assisting students with learning difficulties through effective teaching practices based on scientific research.

AppWheel.Apps for Learners with Dyslexia/Reading and Writing Difficulties

Staff at CALL Scotland have developed a helpful Wheel of Apps guide for iPad that may be useful for students with dyslexia or who just need some additional support with reading and or/writing.

Auditory Processing Disorder

This website provides extensive information about Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) and its treatment.

ADDults with ADHC

ADDults with ADHD is a voluntary self-help organisation for adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). They have a range of resources and services available for people living with ADHD and for staff working with people with ADHD, as well as a helpline.

Beyond Blue

Beyondblue is working to reduce the impact of depression and anxiety in the community by raising awareness and understanding, empowering people to seek help and supporting recovery, management and resilience.

Quantum Techonology

Quantum Technology provides a wide range of products for people who are blind, vision impaired or have a learning disability to improve access to education and employment.

NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access)

NVDA software enables blind and vision impaired people to use a computer by communicating what is on the screen using a synthetic voice or braille. NVDA is the only screen reader for Microsoft Windows that is totally free.

TextHELP

A manufacturer of literacy software solutions, such as Read & Write, which are designed to assist those with literacy difficulties, dyslexia, or where English is a second language.

Freedom Scientific

Freedom Scientific is the world's largest manufacturer of assistive technology products for people with low vision and blindness. It includes demonstration software, updates and tutorials for products, such as Jaws.
