IT Newsletter

The Information Technology newsletter is the means for ITD to provide easily accessible information and updates relating to information technology to UNE students. It provides information on how to access help, new software and system upgrades, amongst other things, to ensure that students have current information and to support active engagement with these important stakeholders.

The University is currently working to represent the campus of the future, and recently sought a next-generation IT infrastructure that provided its staff and students with communication and collaboration capabilities anytime, and from virtually anywhere.

UNE has led the sector’s transition to online digital learning. As a university of about 22,ooo students, approximately 18,000 take online courses from various parts of Australia and internationally. UNE brought in an IT trainer to help with the adoption of all new technologies, and is now working on a specialised training program for Skype for Business and OneNote.
